The old AH design was not too shabby to be honest with you. Even as is it would be very competitive in today's market.

The old AH design was not too shabby to be honest with you. Even as is it would be very competitive in today's market.
KXi is an improvement though: FOV is a touch wider, eye relief is a touch longer, turret clicks are a little different, eye position flexibility is a little better. Then there is the rather excellent illumination system and, of course, different reticles.
The overall size is about the same though.
I like to stretch the legs of my hunting rifle when I practice, so the version I settled on has the 4D-Dot illuminated reticle. At 10x, it gives me a nice mil-scale I can use for holdover, while staying reasonabl unobtrusive when I do not need it.
