Acker… I'm sure repair was meant for Hakko, or similar, facilities only. A while back I sat down with an individual who builds and rebuilds scopes for a living… he would not tackle a teardown of the SA.

Everything works well with mine, until I have to adjust az or el. "Clicks" are inconsistent. Once I get it adjusted, I can hold over with the reticle and everything is great. If I have to rezero, it can be a chore. I'm sending mine to ABO soon.
I hope they can take care of whatever problems you have. The SA was a scope ahead of its time. I really like mine, even with its peculiar deficiencies. Getting it fixed is a high priority with me. Once again, I can use it successfully, but really want everything to be "100%".
