FWIW.Bushnell now owns Simmons. If you send your Aetec to Bushnell for repair be sure to specify in your letter that you want it REPAIRED, NOT REPLACED. Otherwise, they may discard it and send you a Bushnell scope that currently sells at a price the Aetec sold for when it was new, which now is something like the price of a Bushnell Trophy XLT. This happened to me on my first Aetec I sent in six years ago. They discarded it and sent the XLT as a replacement. The XLT would not hold zero on anything larger than a .243. I returned the XLT and Bushnell sent me another XLT. I gave the second one away. I sent in the second Aetec and specified REPAIR, DO NOT REPLACE and they repaired and returned it. It performs well today some five years later.
