May be old news to some, but heard recently Meopta is no longer shipping the 56MM Meostar R2 to the US due to patent issues. I'm told there are some still out there on the shelves unsold, but supposedly more new ones won't be coming. If this is accurate or simply rumor, perhaps Meopta Surujh or others can elaborate/clarify.
