338, on your reticle visibility question on the previous page, what you observed in your comparison between SII, Swaro, and Kahles could be due to any of several things.
1. Wire vs. glass etched reticles. I'm not sure which the SII has, but I believe the #4a in both the Swaro and Kahles are wire reticles, though I could be mistaken on that.
2. in the event they are all etched reticles, they could be using different materials deposited in the etched glass, and one may be more or less opaque or reflective than the others.
3. The SII reticle could be just a touch thinner than the other two that it is less visible in low light, but not enough difference in thickness to be immediately noticeable from the others in good light.
4. The Swaro and Kahles may both do a better job of suppressing internal flare than the SII, improving reticle contrast.
There may be other possibilities I'm not thinking of.
