Turn knobs clockwise for up/right adjustment, small amounts please. After sighting in, lock adjustment with the silver screw. now turn the indexinig ring to the position with the tiny stud pointing to the index line, it was meant to be scratched wit further index marks by the owner. Clamp it by tightening the 3 black screws, but don't overtighten them , they are not under stress when shooting. I hope this description is of some help."
My 4x hadn't the dried grease syndrome, so I used an old adjustable rear mount to sort the windage adjustment, the claw-mount was missing but someone had cut the rail in order to fit normal scope rings
